My advocacy work with California Legislators earned me a spot on The Orange County Register’s “OC’s 100 Most Influential” list for propelling legislation resulting in several laws impacting public safety and justice for hit-and-run victims.

I was acknowledged by the California State Assembly with a “Certificate of Recognition” for my work with animal rescue and honored with a Pet Industry “Women of Influence” Award from Pet Age for transforming a start-up company into a respected category leader.

Ethiopia holds a special place; I helped 60+ individuals during the recent civil war, aiding relocation efforts, and funds for sustenance, education, and support, reflecting my enduring connection to the country.
